My moms friend made a joke about my money tree looking like a weed plant. She knows my mom gets super nervous about that stuff (the friend uses gummies to sleep, my mom has never in her life lol) and we all had a good laugh.

Cannabis is legal where I am, and we’re allowed to grow up to 4 plants per household.
My neighbour recently moved here from elsewhere and has called the cops on us stating we have a huge “pot operation” in our backyard. The responding officer laughed and advised the neighbour that it is very much legal.
Our other neighbours also have their allotted 4 plants. And the new neighbours called the cops on them too. The same officer responded actually. Gave the new neighbour the same response.
They keep peeking over our 8ft fence, so I put all the plants along the fence.
The other day, we had a few neighbours over for a BBQ… some good music, delicious smoked chicken and ribs and a few blunts passed around( in our front yard away from kids playing in the backyard). They called the cops because we were throwing a “drug party” with kids running around.
The same cop responded and had a good laugh about the new neighbourhood watchdog.
